Command squad almost done + W.I.P lucius the Eternal

Straken and co.

My IG army is based on the Peoples Liberation Army of China. Which is why the hands are painted white to represent the gloves they wear. The command squad is based off this picture, showing the different color uniforms to rep. rank ( medics are white, regimental standard is blue). I have about 60-70 guardsmen but im short on tanks. Got alot of work to do but it should be finished real soon. nNext time ill show everything i have so far.

...and this is my lucius im working on. The arms not painted yet beacause i want to freehand souls and faces on the shoulder pad. Im gonna add cables and wires to the back of his head too.

Regimental Standard W.I.P + Straken conversion redo

Almost done with the standard. I used the vostroyan version because its an awesome piece. Very detailed.

I also redid the staken conversion. It was too plain so i just added the plasma pistol and put the shotgun in his hand. check the other post for comparison. its definatley not as boring as the last one, but thats my opinion. What do you think?

'Iron Hand' Straken Conversion

Its been a while. Ive worked on alot of stuff lately but havent had the time to post pictures. I will , however, show this conversion i did for my imperial guard army. Yep.. Imperial Guard. Just to try something alittle different. I havent abandoned chaos, not even close. Just need to take a little break. I did this very simple conversion by using various bits from catachan and cadian box sets. instead of using a bionic arm i just painted a catachan arm as if it was robitic to get the same feel as it does in the codex.

Its a very close range kind of army list that im playing and i think it could work out. This is not a catachan army! Its all cadian with the exeption of straken because he is just to cool to not make him like the picture in the codex. Also if anyone has any list suggestions for a good assault/ close range IG list let me know! I really want to try this out.
